I don't suppose you want to change your blog template or the colors? There was a blogger I used to read who used this template, and then he disappeared from the blogosphere when he got arrested, and I've loathed the brown/parchment template ever since.
Oh, O! I don't want to traumatize you further, but damn, girl. This thing was a PITA to set up, so...you're kinda gonna hafta live with it or forsake me. Maybe I can make all the bad memories go away?

But he was so incredibly super creepy! Seriously. He was arrested (and later convicted) for exposing women to HIV. Total sociopath a-hole.
So, PK, did you switch to the new Blogger "layout" system from the old "template"? Because if you did, it's so easy to play with the colors. I picked a new template in layouts, and then I played with "Customize" and went to the "Fonts and Colors" tab to pick out colors (dark orange! light orange! green links! just this moment, I added purple!) and changed the fonts.
I want to hear more about the man...where did you meet him? etc?
And I just want to know what his response was. And since I've never learned to date (I just married the fool), can you fill me in?
